Why this story exists.
Some stories begin with a plan. Pennymores began with a question asked at bedtime: what if the world had forgotten how to write?
That question became a way for our family to talk about courage, imagination, and the strange power of putting an idea on a page. The book grew because the characters kept asking for another night, another room, another door.
